James went as a paintball referee and I as a paintball player
James took the pumpkin carving contest a little to seriously; this was his creation
"HIPPIE CHIC"...Chloe enjoyed "biscuit begging" all day long at work with James

Practice makes perfect right?!

We enjoyed spending this past weekend with our nephew and niece, Jacob and Emma. We had a weekend full of activities. Here is Emma at the Ferris Pioneer Days, she just slid down a really big slide.

Jacob and our newest critter,9 wk old Dottie. And yes his ear is still intact! :)

Jacob and Emma are such wonderful kids, we decided why not add 3 more to the group. James defintely had his work cut out pulling 5 kids around in the wagon.

Here is our "spooktacular" dessert we all helped make. Such a fun night with all the kiddos. :)

East Texas Visitation

Yes, that is our 4 yr old nephew, Jacob & his sister Emma, driving the 4 wheeler with James in tow! We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon at First Monday in Canton and then on to Edgewood for some family fun.

For those of you wondering what we mean when we say we are "working on a dam"... Many trees gone and many passes later, the back slope is almost done.
Here is James going down the back slope
My turn now..fun, fun!

Just a pic.

Here we are on vacation at a swamp in South Carolina. Doesn't sound all that romantic but was really neat and we had alot of fun!

Work, Work, and MOIR Work

Life at the Moir's, is well, busy as usual. A busy summer keeping up with our careers. James tries to keep all cars running, while Serena tries to keep all the houses clean. Together we try to keep the dams in Ellis County mowed as well as tending to all our critters on our hobby farm. We are both looking forward to a weekend away with friends in San Antonio.
