2 yr Birthday

My precious boy is already 2!

The Moir cousins, Jacob and Emma, were in town so we celebrated early with a party at the park.

Enjoying a leftover cupacake from party #1.

We celebrated his "real" birthday with a small party at Grandma & Grandpa Walling's house in Waxahachie.

He couldn't wait any longer! I love this picture.
Playing with his new b-ball goal.

Stay tuned...Disney, trip to Oklahoma/Halloween, J's b-day, random pics & my first 1/2 marathon all to come!!

Chandler Has a Brand New Ride

The beginning of this month James & I took up bike riding. During the week we ride around our neighborhood and then on the weekends we head out to our favorite, only, trail at Getzendaner in Waxahachie. :) **Thanks Larry & Linda for the loan on the bikes, while we were shopping for ours.**

Los Alamos, NM

Visiting Grandpa David and Grandma Ruth in Los Alamos, NM. August 6-10.
We were welcomed in Santa Fe by this GORGEOUS double rainbow! :)
Hamin' it up on the ride from Albuquerque to Los Alamos.
Breakfast at Grandpa David's house. He looks like such a BIG boy here!
This neat tricycle was on loan while we were there. (Thanks Elena & Tarik!)
These are NOT like the slides in Texas!!
This is the really cool slide at Urban Park. There are rollers all the way down that you sit on, it gives the "older kids" a swift kick off the slide. FUN, though!
Olga (Ruth's mom), Ruth and David supervising the kids (Me, James & Chandler) at Urban Park. :)
Chandler wanted to walk with his daddy instead of riding the tricycle back to the house. So sweet, LOVE IT! :)
Our first day there we had a picnic with greasy tacos from the greasy taco place! :) They are so good but oh so greasy!
Aida Mae and Chandler at Gabriel's.
We celebrated Ruth's birthday at one of our favorite restaurants, Gabriel's! YUM!! :)
In the kids area @ Gabriel's. Love the view here!
We had wanted to ride the ski lift up to the top of the ski area and hike down, but the lifts were closed (probably due to the fair & rodeo) so David led us on another, somewhat, elevated hike. In one area we were hiking through a meadow of wildflowers, BEAUTIFUL!!
The Fair and Rodeo happened to be in town the same weekend we were there. This was much different than the Texas State Fair we attend every year. Instead, of the rides there was a area of bounce houses set up for the kids. We assumed Chandler would enjoy the bounce houses since he had one at his FIRST birthday party....NOT THE CASE! He sat there the entire time, watching the other kids bounce.
James & I were able to spend some time hiking on a trail he used to hike as a kid. Fun times!
The infamous self portrait on the steps! :)
David, Ruth, Olga, James & Chandler @ the Overlook.
Three Generations of Moir's! James, David "Chandler" & Chandler. This is the grandpa Chandler is named after!

My new obsession....

CRAIGS LIST! We have SOLD many things and have purchased many things and occasionally we stumble across deals like this!!

I found this slide for FREE couldn't believe I was the first caller on it either! It is in perfect condition and Chandler LOVES it!

The boy cracks me up! He hasn't quite figured out how to get his other leg pointed in the same direction as the other one.

The boys and their bunny

Forgive my lack of blogging lately! :(

One of James' customers brought this rabbit to the shop and knew James would find it a good home....OURS! (Only for a few days, though. We found him a wonderful home with other bunny friends.)
Chandler informing me that this is a bunny.
Chandler meet the bunny, bunny meet Chandler!

VICTORY...the PACI is GONE!

I'm a BIG BOY now! :)
21 months...last picture taken with his paci!
18 months=you see he has a back-up!...huge difference I know. Hard to believe, I couldn't find that many "paci" shots when he was smaller. Guess, "we" weren't that attached yet.
Several days old (leaving the hospital actually), we started off with this one.
