Another "belly buddy friend" Joscelyn who is expecting her 3rd sometime in March, she's hoping for a little girl! :)

Who has the bigger belly?

Chandler Grason...

Here is our little man, approximately weighing in at 4.5 lbs & I'm only into my 31st week!! He is a bit on the large side and I have another sono scheduled in 4 weeks to check his size/weight. I think he takes after his mother as I was a hefty 9lb 4 0z @ birth! We are thinking he might be coming a few weeks early, we are certainly ready to meet our little miracle! You might have noticed the title, that isn't the name we have officially decided to go with that's just what his Grammy (my mom) calls him because James & I are still undecided. It's still a toss up between Chandler Bruce (both family names) or Grason James.

The "offical" cat house

I love my cats, what can I say?! Since I was a little girl I have always taken in "strays". Somethings never change! James married into cats and I married into dogs. Together we love all 10 (6 cats & 4 dogs) of our critters! Our vet loves us too! :)

Here it is the indoor/outdoor cat house, complete with a bed, "love"seat, climbing tree, kitty decorations, ceiling fan, and A/C! Are they rotten or what? :)

Kubota Texas sized

Here is the new and improved cab Kubota tractor AKA Jill (yes, we name our tractors: Jack, Jill & Junior) James modified her just a "little"...ha... as you can see he extended the rear wheel base and will add 220 lb weights to the front end. My favorite addition was the radio he installed. This modification will actually help in mowing the back slopes on the dams, allowing for side to side mowing rather than the slower techinque, up & down. Only in TEXAS! :)

Da' belly is a growin'

Just wanted to bring you all up to date. I am currently in between my 17-18th week of pregnancy. We find out next week if Baby Moir is a boy or a girl, keep a watchful eye on the mailbox....as that is where the news will be shared! Baby Moir has been quite the little active one these days, I felt the first kick on the 23rd of May and daily feel his/her movements! Such a EXCITING time in our lives! We appreciate all the prayers!!

I hope you aren't disappointed that there are no "belly shots" wouldn't want to scare any of ya! As the title states...I am a growin'! :)

Easter Bluebonnets

We spent our Easter afternoon out at one of the dams we cleared, we took ALL (4) of our dogs for a swim and our labs even posed for a nice photo amongst the flowers.

For the love of KUBOTA

James spent last Saturday (7th) putting the "shiny" on all our machines! We are a KUBOTA family!

10 weeks...

So most of you know by now, and if you don't... SURPRISE! James and I are THRILLED to announce we are expecting our first baby the end of October. Many thanks to all of you for your prayers and support! We are 10 weeks pregnant!

Rain, Rain

So you get the picture...this is our rain gauge on Thur., after dumping it out Fri. morning with the forecast of more rain, Sat morning it measured the same! When you add the 2" we received on Tues. that is a WHOPPING total of 10" in 1 week! Saturday afternoon we packed up our, water loving, meat-heads and checked out some of the "active/full" dams we have recently cleared.

Celebrating a 1st

So, little Jaxson Hall celebrated his 1st birthday and I had the honor and privilege of making his birthday cake. **Note: this cake would NOT have turned out the way it did without the help and guidance of my dear friend and expert cake decorator, Mel!** :)

Dam Update

We have completed 2 of the 11 "dams to be cleared" and hope to begin on our 3rd (weather permitting) this weekend. Here is a look at some of the after shots:

Moir Dam Work

Saturday afternoon we spent surveying what will keep us busy in the upcoming months. Here is a quick glimpse of what's in store. *NOTE: these pictures are of 3 different dams*

I'm a little overwhelmed at the terrain on the backslope. James certainly has his work cut out for him on the front slope! Nice booty shot huh?

Lots of trees but not to bad, we spent the afternoon working on this dam today. Stay tuned for AFTER shots.
