Today was our first attempt with cereal and I must say I'm pretty impressed.

At only 4.5 months James & I decided to take our parenting skills one step further...to the airport. We were off to New Mexico to visit James' dad. Chandler did AWESOME on the plane, he was either asleep, eating or observing all the other passengers.

4 Months

Well, here we are at 4 months already and our monthly photo with Jerry! We have to wait for our checkup because we got our first cold which turned into a URI & ear infection. However, he did weigh in today at a healthy 16 lbs & 4 oz! Isn't he precious?! :)

I especially like this picture. I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, as a good wife should do, and noticed that Chandler had gotten very quiet. When I went to check on him this is what I found.

Last but not least, his own bed!

He has been sleeping in his own bed for about a month now and just this week has learned to take naps in his bed too! He's such a GREAT baby, we are so blessed!

Chandler did very well with his first haircut, he was awake for the first part but then fell asleep. He didn't cry at all. I think by the time he is 1 he will be used to the trimmings!

Since he wasn't even 2 weeks old yet, we didn't participate in the usual Halloween festivities, I know he will be all geared up for it next year, we just dressed up in our pumpkin hat & pumpkin mittens this year!

I have been blessed to have such wonderful help the first 2 weeks at home. My mom (Grammy) was here the first week & James' mom (Grandma Linda) the 2nd week.

Well...he's been here since the 19th of October, I'm just now getting around to blogging! I've been a little sleep deprived these past few weeks.

Anticipation

Everything is all set up and ready for his arrival. Once we name him I plan on hanging his name over his crib...will it be Chandler or Grason? We are both so excited about finally meeting our miracle....1 more day!
